It sounds too complicated and I refuse to beleive that people driving cars does more damage than natural cycles.

Dear Florida - good question, read my reply to Lucky in this category. This is indeed serious business and must be properly managed over the next three or four generations and beginning with this one. It is imperitive that Mr and Mrs American start to become educated on this subject starting with reading newspaper accounts and then going to their local library to search out the original books and papers that the research community is generating. There is little dispute any longer in the scientific community. This dispute was encouraged by the federal government, especially the White House, and many scientists took that as counter evidence. But today even the White House is coming around. So we all need to begin thinking as you have about what can be done at home to do our part. I told one questioner today that the world produces 27,000 million tons of CO2 per year and that if that CO2 were frozen and made into a mountain it would be a mile high and 12 miles in circumference. That's a lot of CO2 we produce and it is creating havoc on the planet.

You admit its complicated, but somehow still believe you know more than the experts. Sure one car will not change the entire world, but as a whole the delicate balance of heat is thrown off leading to unknown consequences.

you SHOULD take global warming seriously.
cars are releasing carbon dioxide and Methane that goes up to the atmosphere and "helps" the greenhouse effect to grow. as a result the temperature of our planet is rising, the Arctic ices are melting and other things like El Niño are getting Worst.

You shouldn't worry, I will keep driving my car to increase global warming, at least until a massive hurricane takes your home out.

Then I'll check with you again.
