yup,
I think the LRP is still out there somewhere (Linux Router Project).

but if you're trying to get LInux on such a small footprint, it's going to be pretty technical anyway, not going to have a gui and such. BUT..if you just need to get the thing on-net and bootable LRP will do the trick, and get you on-net so that you can do a net-install of whatever Linux distro you wish to run w/.
However if this is your first rodeo/bbq w/ linux you might want to try a regular install first on a PC w/ the parts you need.

You can install Debian from 3 floppies, but it will need an internet connection to complete the install. Another choice is to setup a PXE (network boot) server, and you can install many different distros. http://www.howtoforge.net/ubuntu_pxe_install_server
Though it takes a bit of work.

Not a question I can answer but I may know a man who can, he advertises in the Micro Mart magazine. He sells lots of Linux distro's installable and live Cd's. You could try e-mailing him at linuxman@dsl.pipex.com if he cannot sort you out no one can. When you e-mail him give him the spec of your Armada. Hope this helps.

your not going to get linux on a floppy , HOWEVER all is not lost here , since linux is a open source , simply pull the hd from the pc and install linux on it with another pc and replace the hd ,
