if your in the lead run forest run. if you are in the middle of the pack weigh your options quickly. if in the back of the pack pick them up and throw them at the person in front of you so you don't finish dead last.

20,000 people? You can rule out they're in one peice after the race. You have several options:

1. If you want to place in the marathon, forget about it. Finish the race and get new ones.

2. Go back if you don't really care about winning.

Keep running. The dentures can be replaced. The marathon cannot.

I say stop and pick them up. You won't lose THAT much time and if you don't you'll be thinking about it the rest of the race. Time you can make up but crossing the finish line with no teeth is a visual no one needs!

Stop and pick them up! They won't be there after the race ... if they are still there, you won't recognize them. Bottom line, pick them up, or prepare to see your dentist to make you another set (at least $2,000.00) and eat soup, bananas apple sauce i.e. till your dentist finishes making them! Count the cost, is the race worth it to you? If yes, RUN ON!! Best Luck!!!

Just crack on and get the race done. By the time the people behind you run over them, they won't be good for anything but a gag gift at a party.

haha. I think I'd just leave them, and look for them after the race. I mean, can you imagine just stopping. It would look like a football game instead of a marathon. ~~~~

I run smiling through the 26.2 miles knowing I have either a won law suit against polident, or the best idea for a commerical for dent-sure.

Oh goodness no, they'd be trampled by then. Dentures are expensive, I'd get them immediately.
