Will there ever be a Sims 2 Online?

I used to play the sims online (TSO). I was wondering if there were any plans of having a "The Sims 2 Online" (TS2O) and if not, why?! I would buy TS2O in a heart beat.

i heard somewhere that they will never make TS2 for online. i dont know, i dont see why not though there are tons of online games that are 3-d. i would buy it in two seconds if they ever did.
