I know Cyprus fairly well...where do you want to go....
You can get guide books at book stores and places like W H Smiths as well.

You can go to Cyprus Ministry of Tourism, they are in every city. Also in any city of Cyprus the best people to get information are Taxis because the distances are so small and there is nothing these guys don't know.

You can get directions to and from a location, you can have locations mapped out for you.
You can have alternate routes mapped out...ie: route without highways, shortest distance.
