Is there a formula to it? Also i need help X^3-2x^2+4x-8

(x+2)(10x^2+1)
For the second one: (x-2)(x^2+4)

10x^3+20x^2+x+2
= 10x^2(x+2)+(x+2)
= (10x^2+1)(x+2)

x^3-2x^2+4x-8
= x^2(x-2)+2(x-2)
= (x^2+2)(x-2)

factor the first two, then last two
10x^2(x+2) + 1(x+2)
notice how parenthesis are the same
(10x^2+1)(x+2)

By inspection one of the roots is -2 Thus the expression can be written( x +2)( quadratic) etc
