I'm not judging you but most T rated games are MUCH more mild then PG-13 movies.

I'll fill this out for my mom for when she let me do this stuff, since she doesn't go on here.

1. How old will you let your child see a PG-13?: I was 11 or something.
2. How about an R?: Was Titantic an R? If so, then 13 or so. If not, then 16 or something. I hardly ever watch R rated movies.
3.Play a T rated game?: 11 or so
4. Play an M rated game?: 13 or 14, again with not playing them often again.
5. Let them date?: 16, though I don't date anyway
6. Tell them about Drugs?: I was told as early as I can remember
7. Tell them about sex?: Same as above
8. Give them an email address?: I was 10 or 11
9. Let them go in the neightborhood alone: 10 or so
10. Let them Instant message?: 11
11. Let them get their first non family pet?: My first pet that was really MINE I got when I was 17, and I had to present the idea over a year before. My cat I got when I was 12 or so, but she's more the family's even though she spends most of her time with me.
12. Not get upset that they are interested in the opposite sex: My parents never minded; it's natural, after all.

1. How old will you let your child see a PG-13? with me or at home, probably about 11, on their own, at 13
2. How about an R? with me or at home, probably about 13, on their own 15-16 (it really depends on why the film has this rating)
3.Play a T rated game? 13
4. Play an M rated game? 15
5. Let them date? high school
6. Tell them about Drugs? in elementary school, because the school will start telling them about drugs at this time and i'd rather they heard it from me first
7. Tell them about sex? if they asked, at any age, including pre-school. i believe in honesty. if they never asked, then probably around 8. i wouldn't be graphic, just let them know the facts.
8. Give them an email address? 10
9. Let them go in the neightborhood alone? i live in a small, safe family neighborhood, in a tiny town, so about 10 they could ride a bike around or something
10. Let them Instant message? 10...with people they know
11. Let them get their first non family pet? depends on the child's maturity and what pet. if it's small and easy to care for, like a goldfish, pretty much anytime after 5. a cat or dog would be more work and i'd wait till the at least 10.
12. Not get upset that they are interested in the opposite sex? i wouldn't get upset anytime. 3 year olds have little "boyfriends" and "girlfriends" and as long as they aren't being inappropriate or sexual, i don't see a problem with it.
