People always say 12 year olds shouldn't like the opposite sex. I have a 12 year old son and I know otherwise. Most 12 year olds are far in Pueberty and are already growing hair and that stuff. Thinking about the opposite sex is hard not to do because there Hormones are raging. Why don't people understand that? They are sexualy active at that age( I am not saying its okay to have sex I am just saying they are physicly ready)

There is a difference between physically ready and mentally ready. You are right about the hormones raging. It does depend on the person. Everyone goes through puberty at different ages. You are correct in that if they are going through puberty they can't help and think about sex because of their hormones. However, they are not ready. Not even physically. They need to complete puberty to be physically ready for sex, they may feel ready but having sex to early can mess up the puberty process. Also they are not mentally mature enough to have sex. A person doesn't develop the full capacity to reason until the age of sixteen. This means they can't think things through like an adult. They just seem grown so we assume they can.

And 10 years old is definitely too early!!!!!! That is still a child, not even a pre-teen.

It really depends on the individual, my son is 11 and has a crush on a girl but, other than saying it to me and I guess a few select friends, that is the extent of this relationship. His dad and I haven't been together in over 5 years and any time his dad says a girl is good looking he gets mad at him, including if its an actress on tv. He is mature in all ways except a sexual way. I am VERY grateful for that!! I wish you luck with your child, it is hard when they grow up so fast.

have you ever recorded her and shown her whilst she wasn't upset what she does? tell her that the fits ought to provide up and have her sit down with you and paintings out a plan. If she likes to jot down, tell her whilst she's waiting to throw a in positive condition to sit down down and write each and every of the failings she appears like doing instead of certainly doing them. are you able to provide her a "in charge, massive individual" accountability to try this she enjoys? start up helping her experience like she is becoming up. She sounds like she would nevertheless be slightly immature, inspite of the undeniable fact that, because of the fact it is so drastic, i in my view think of something has surpassed off, or is occurring that she isn't telling you, and which you will ought to have her consult with a consultant to objective and parent that out. this is as minor as somebody teasing her at college, or purely a count of immaturity. it form of feels severe sufficient to have her seen by using somebody, nonetheless. good success to you and your daughter. I suggested as "minor" as somebody teasing her, yet I wouldn't have used the be conscious minor, because of the fact teasing could be rather stressful on your daughter. What i became into questioning is that if it became into something like that, you ought to in all probability bypass paintings it out with the faculty your self.
