I actualy have a way better option then itunes. go to www.limewire.com and you can download any song you can imagine all for free. and it can easily be transferred to your ipod all for free.

Itunes itself doesn't cost money. Itunes is kind of like Apple's Windows Media Player. You can add music and videos to it. The only thing you have to pay for in itunes is music. You would have to make an account then you can download songs at 99 cents per song. Or if you don't want to pay use Limewire or some other p2p sharing program. There you can download music for free. It is illegal though.

The actual itunes program is free. Go to apple.com and download it. You can import CD's into itunes and create a library. You dont have to buy music from itunes. It's 99cents a song. You get free music from your own collection and friends. You can do limewire, but that has its own risks of spyware and what not. It's up to you.

iTunes is free and always has been. However to get songs from iTunes you need to make an account and buy songs for 99 cents each. (iTunes download: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/)

But if you want completely free song downloads, do this:
On a windows, go here: http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml and select "get basic" then choose "no i will not use limewire for copright infringement" and your set. free songs and everything

but on a mac, theres a better fileshare program called acquisition. download it here: http://www.acquisitionp2p.com/

There are possible websites that lets you download music for free. Limewire is an exapmle but that is illegal. I suggest that you shouldnt use any free downloads because you can get fined and get alot of viruses on your computer.
