My 12 year old daughter wants to know what the baby's kicks feel like. How do I describe that? Thanks!

I described it to my daughter as a thump on the inside. I thumped her on her arm, but explained that i feel that in my belly. It helps if she can feel or see when the baby is moving.

It feels like when you have gas between your belly button and hip bones. I was surprised to recognize how alike the two feel when I had gas a few months after giving birth. It felt just like a baby kicking.
