She wasn't my best friend... but she was a good friend of mine.

She said some really mean things behind my back... like calling me a s.l.u.t. and other things. She thought I was prettier than her (hell yeah I am) and that her ex liked me (we were friends!). So she would sit behind her computer and say all these mean things to me... but in person, she acted like none of that crap happened.

I just ignored her. I could've beat the livin' crap out of her if I wanted to. Everyone knew it. But I was better than that. I don't need to stoop to her level.

Just laugh about it. Be flattered that they're jealous.

The thing I'm going through right now with one of my really good friends is that she feels as if I'm not wanting to be her friend anymore if I make plans with other people. She works with me and a prime example of her jealousy occurred yesterday. One of our coworkers invited me and my daughter over to his house for breakfast. So we went and later on I went over to her house. She stated that she was hurt because we didn't give her an invite. But the reason why I didn't is because she'd told me earlier this week that she would be busy with 'company' this weekend. So I thought she was busy.

The point I'm trying to make is that she does things with her other friends all the time and I don't get jealous about it. But she seems to take it personally if I don't include her in what I'm doing.

I just don't understand. Just because we're friends doesn't mean we have to include each other in EVERY aspect of our lives.

My answer is yes and to fix it I usually get mad something really stupid too. Then if they speak up I just tell them the same thing or I just speak up and say I am sorry and apoligize by saying "no ofence but it is a really stupid reason and Idon't want it to ruin are friendship!"

Yep, all the time. I usually get rid of them if they continue on. I remember having a friend who was constantly trying to beat me at things such as grades, who would get their driver's license first, etc. She would always demand answers from me if a college professor came to talk to me because they were very interested in me.

not for a long time but yes...I had a friend that used to be really possessive about her bf and would freak out whenever he wanted to hang out somewhere w/o her then she would basically stalk him...
we stopped hanging out...I don't want any of that drama...
