Well here is a comparison between Wal-Mart, K-mart, JCPenny etc. to AE, Hollister AF etc. Wal-mart has clothes available for all ages. Let's just try and find clothes for a 14 year old. Wal-mart offers brightly colored younger looking clothes, with silly patterns, and whimsical flowers and drawings. While Abercrombie offers mature, slightly showy clothes. Every store has it's pros and cons. The best places to shop is things that are youthful, but not too young for you. I suggest places like Old Navy, Aeropastle, and Nordstorm

You'd have to know the brand, but who cares??? MOST of us shop at Wal-Mart, K-Mart, and Target. Good lcothes for not near the prices. Makes them smarter that now they have saved that extra money and can now wear decent clothes AND do somethign they will enjoy.

You wouldn't be able to. People wear all type of clothes. Who cares if you wear Walmart, K mart or Target. As long as you have clothes on your back, no need to worry about what brand it is. This world is full of people that think about only material things. Who cares. They didnt buy the clothes for you , so so what.

Unless you're a real snoop and reading their tags, I don't think you can, at all! You have to choose wisely when you're budget shopping, but you can walk out of Walmarte' looking like a million dollars. I just bought the cutest little black dress I've ever owned at Walmart...ruched all around, swingy skirt, really smart. It looks like Armani! I know I could pass it off for a dress that easily cost $300.00, and I love knowing it actually cost $19.99!! Yep!! Target is really on the ball , too. Just create a polished look and enjoy your little secret AND the extra cash.

K-mart and most people think I spent a mint when I only spent a few bucks!

By their brands. Many stores sell specific brands than others. All I know that Targets main brand is Mossimo (or something like that).

Why should that matter? Be glad you have the clothes you do have, as there are starving orphans in Africa who wears rags. And if it's someone that you're dating, you shouldn't care, as long as you like that person and they like you back, it simply shouldn't matter.

Their clothes don't have labels (Prada, Gucci, Armani) plastered on the front to let you know the wearer is cool.

It is getting harder especially w/ Target (Their stuff is looking really good.
