I'm in Hanoi, Vietnam, which some US congressmen wanted to nuke in the early 1970s...
It's the friendliest large city I've ever been in, but the streets are motorbike mayhem! You can't walk on the pavement (sidewalk) because they're completely covered in parked bikes, so you have to walk in the street dodging them coming at you in both directions. To cross the street, wait for an old granny to force the traffic to part and follow her!
Other than that, I'm fine! I hope these communists do free hospital treatment for foreigners though...
