The White's tree frogs I've known aren't very active during the day - they're nocturnal, but will "wake up" if there's food to be eaten. They like a vertical space more than horizontal (they are climbers) and need some humidity. If they're happy with the living conditions, they're green. If unhappy, brown.

Frogs will get around 3-5 inches as adults. Here's a link to more info on them:

Dumpy Tree Frogs are very popular, and should have alot of data available on the web. I personally use www.Kingsnake.com as they will have everything you need, including Care Sheets for Maintenance. Moss in it's habitat is a good thing, also a dish large enough for it to get wet, and drink. Recommended food of choice is crickets small enough for it's size. Don't keep it cold, or to hot. The moss if kept damp will be a nice snoozing area. Good Luck.

I don't know where you live or what your climate is however frogs are a bonus to any garden. Build a lil pond around the garden and let the frog have at the bugs on your plants.

Maybe try more than one frog and every spring you will then have lovely music.
