by uploading from you and tracking your IP address

Depending if your selling or buying illegal music downloads on the web, your IP address can be traced. Then the music police can find you from where you host your website, or simply get home address from your local internet service. Then the illegal music downloads swat team surrounds your home, and demands you turn yourself, and your computer in. Once they read you your rights, and take away your computer (you won't need it, where your going), they throw you into some deep dungeon, where you will hear over and over again, how you are stealing artist work for your own gain and/or pleasure, and not compensating the original artist.

Honestly, I do not know how they catch you. But you are risking getting all sorts of worms and viruses and more when you download from illegal music sites. Honesty is always the best policy.

They can track data streams right back to your IP adress provided by your ISP. The same way they track those freaks doing the kiddie porn thing.

The where they really nail you is if your distributing the the tracks.

They get your IP and then send a Subpoena or however that thing is spelled and that lawfully forces your internet service provider such as AOL, MSN, Comcast etc. to give them your name.

and thats how it works
