Hypothetical situation here.

Suppose a person makes a completely ignorant comment about a large group of people, expecting justification on their behalf. When this statement is swiftly and categorically proven false, why does this person say "Well, there isn't one single argument proving me wrong." instead of eating crow like a good little boy? Can someone please tell me that!?

Cuz people are too proud, and they cant just be humble and accept that they're wrong. It's because of people like this that the world can be such a crappy place sometimes.

It's arrogance. e.g: Science proved over and over that homosexuality is natural, and occurs in other living things, nevertheless, people refuse to see that, or even believe it's true but won't admit they were wrong, it just makes them look bad.
