First what you will need to do is get in contact with your ISP to have them help you set your Westell Versalink into "Bridged" mode. Usually DSL service providers use a PPPoE Authentication. Your Westell is designed to retain that information and log in for you. Unfortunately this feature gets in the way of a Linksys Router. By switching your Westell into Bridged mode it will disable the login feature and all routing services within the Westell.

Once you have your Westell in Bridged mode you can connect your router as the instructions from Linksys suggest. Then you will need to go into the Linksys setup...(usually you can get there from your Internet Browser by typing in the address 192.168.1.1) It will ask for a username and password. You can Simply type in "admin" as the password and you will be logged into the Linksys setup.

In the Linksys setup you will see a dropdown menu that is currently set to "Obtain an IP Automatically" Change this setting to PPPoE and you will see where you can input some login information. You will need to use the ISP login information here. Then after you have input your information you will need to click on "Save Settings" on the bottom of the screen. You will see a white box on the page that says "Settings are Successful" and you will be redirected to the setup page after about 5 seconds. If done correctly, you will be able to use the internet on any computer connected to the router.
