I would get Dan Uggla and Jon Papelbon for Frank Thomas and Derek Lowe. I already have Travis Hafner for my Util, so I think that this is a steal of a trade... secondly cause i need a better 2B. let me know your thoughts

Take it and pray to God it goes through. Then post a message in the league and point out how you got such a good deal and how big of a moron the other guy is.

Take the deal - Hafner is going to be your full time guy anyway. And an upgrade at 2B is hard to find in any deal.
Pap may make a good starter - but if he doesn't, you could have a fill in closer. Their bullpen is a mess right now.
As for 3 pitchers on the same team, assume they will win close to 100 games - that's 18-20 games per pitcher. That's pretty good even though it's tough to put together sweeps every week. Maybe Wakefield and Lester will take most of the L's.

do the deal and say thank you to your trade partner. U dont need both Thomas and Hafner. No one knows what to do w/ Papelbon and Lowe had lucky breaks last season.

Do it!!

Frank Thomas has a 40 time of almost 6, because his knees are so bad. Lowe is a .500 pitcher at most. Pap is going to be a good starter, and Uggla is a good 2B. Take it.

I would take that trade in a heartbeat. The Blue Jays are gonna be Big Hurtin' with all the money they've thrown at Frank. The pitchers are pretty even though.

good trade. papelbon is a sleeper candidate since he was a closer last year...uggla is unlikely to duplicate last year's career season. However, he will put up a string of decent numbers. Don't worry that you already have two Red Sox pitchers. The team should get lots of run support. Also, always carry pitching insurance.

It really seems like a no brainer to me.....with both Frank Thomas and Travis Hafner hand cuffed to the util role, you might as well get rid of one of them. I would accept this trade. Especially if you need help at 2B.

take the deal for sure. most second basemen suck really bad except for utley, cano, uggla, and maybe roberts. pap should make a good starter, and he'll have plenty of run support w/ man ram, papi, and jd drew. even if papelbon doesnt make a good starter, theyll make him closer because their bullpen sucks something else. id make that trade in a heartbeat.

TAKE THE DEAL! FRANK THOMAS WONT DO ANYTHING FOR YOU! UGGLA WILL BE AN ALL-STAR THIS SEASON. PAPELBON IS WAY BETTER THAN LOWE.
