when can i use my bebe sounds fetal heart monitor?

i am four months. how long until my monitor can pick up the heartbeat?

i had the same heart monitor with the headphones i never heard my baby's heart beat on there but others that i know did i would say wait until you are 5mts to try to pick the sound up i believe the reason i never heard mine is because she was never in the right position when i tried ha ha but good luck and i hope you can hear yours

I just had my baby girl last friday and I have one of those things. First off, the baby needs to be about 5 or 6 months for the heart to be big and strong enough to be picked up on it, the heartbeat is usually found in the lower tummy under the belly button, you have to press down a little hard too and it has to be really quiet in the room. I had that monitor and it was very rare that I could actually pick up on the heartbeat. My doc tried it for me as well and she had a difficult time too. When I was able to pick up on it here and there, it was around the 6th month and beyond.

I somewhat have one and that i'm no longer inspired with it. regardless of the undeniable fact that, i'm in straight forward terms 20 weeks and it even says on the guidelines which you won't be able to take heed to something with it till the 8th month. i'm purely happy that a pal of mine gave it to me and that i did no longer waste any money. The buddy who gave it to me pronounced she ought to take heed to the toddler's heartbeat in direction of the tip of her being pregnant, or maybe then she could no longer hear it every time she used it. i think of that's in straight forward terms a glorified stethoscope.

sometimes u can hear it when u r 5 1/2 or so.. i tryed it when i was 4 1/2 and i can hear a lil but not as much....
