I was thinking about maybe Decoupaging my husband when he passes and standing him in the corner.Suggestions?

Just keep his arms out straight so you can at least get him to hold things for you and not be useless.

First cover him with cork, then decoupage over the cork. When you're finished, nail him up on the wall and use him as a bulletin board.

At least "pose" him in a sitting down position...that way he'll be useful to use when you need to drive in the carpool lane ;-)
