That's a wives tale (oops! I mean a husband's tale) because any Adult woman with common sense knows better. You period does not stop in water, it is just diluted by the water in the shower or pool or beach, and so you think it is gone. Be careful not to go swimming without a tampon, you could end up totally embarrassed, and who wants that?

NO! when swimming you need to wear a tampon. Apparently your flow may decrease in the shower because of the water flow pressure but it will not completely stop in most cases. And swimming will not stop your period.

it won't!! do no longer beilive what each individual tells you! human beings say it stops even though it is not comparable to they are staring at their era, the blood is moved via the water so which you will no longer see it o.k.. that's rather unsanitary and this is disgusting to be swimming around in era blood! and particular it could somtimes be seen, whether that's heavy sufficient, it will make a stain on your bathing in good shape. do no longer positioned on a pad, using fact the pad is mad e to absord the blood, this is going to absorb the water in the pool... and it will seem extensive in you bathing in good shape. do no longer go swimming except you have a tampon in!!

Yes, it normally stops because if the body sense that there is water around the body, it closes the tubes that allows the blood to flow. I know i've been at the beach so many times durin ma period and nothing happened.

Well, yor period does not come all at once - it comes gradually. When you're in water, it quickly gets rid of any blood that comes ; making it seem you stop getting your period.
