Scooter is the fall guy for Cheney,,, do ya think he will enjoy his time in a prison cell?

Steven Colbert had the best one-liner,,, "Libby won't let going to prison affect his life for very long,, he forgets faster than a goldfish", it's priceless,,, agree?

I think Bush will wait until the end of his term and this is why, Libby is a good little con, he didn't rat out his boss or Karl Rove so a pardon is in the future. However if Bush does it now it will cost the repuglicans votes in November 08. If he waits until after the election but while still in office he pays Libby for his loyalty and protects the right wing vote. Remember the appeals process will take up most of that time and Libby will not be in a cell, more like a country club.

Bush will let the appeals process go on, and pardon Libby before he leaves office, after the November 2008 elections are over.

I don't see how he would dare to. Libby also worked for the president, and the leak came from Bush, not Cheney!

Scooter should be facing a firing squad!

Let Bush pardon him! Very few Republicans will win an election in 2008! And forget the presidency!

I agree, but doesn't the felon have to admit he's guilty before he can be pardoned? Libby hasn't done that but Bush can always change that little old rule. It 's probably more recent than habeous corpus (1215 AD) which Bush has already modified. In any case, it's all part of the War on Terror, so whatever Bush does must be right.

LOL on the Colbert one-liner, that is funny. He'll probably have no choice but to pardon him in self-defense of his Administration. If they don't, this will go to an appeal and this time around Cheney might actually have to testify and cut his own throat. Can't have that can they?
