Hopefully, i mean can he really do worse? No he could, he could play like Rex Grossman. But maybe since Peyton just won a superbowl it will light a fire under him.

No, if anything he'll play worst since there's a big bubble concerning their running game. I mean Ruben Droughns? They would've been better trading Tim Carter, their first & second round picks for the Browns 3rd overall pick & pick up Droughns to draft Adrian Peterson & ship Ruben off to another team for an offensive lineman or defense back. Even the greats like Elway & Montana had good RBs. Dan Marino is an exception to that rule but I feel had he had a consistant 1000 yard rusher on his team, he would've won at least 1 Superbowl if not more. Jim Kelly is another exception who had Thurman Thomas but choked in their 4 trips to the Superbowl.

well the giants coach(coughlin) can say anything he wants but i won't be listening to him

eli will not be any better solely because of the loss of tiki barber...when he was effective it was because barber was able to force defenses to bring run support, and then eli could use the play action pass...when tiki's effectiveness went downhill a little, eli went way downhill, and that further caused problems for tiki

No, not a chance. 1) he lost Tiki Barber and Jacobs isnt the scariest back I have ever seen and Drougns is nothing more than a product of that Denver scheme. 2) he has to throw to two of the biggest cry babies in the NFL in Burress and Shockey. 3) That defense is going to keep him in bad situations 4) Tom Coughlin is still his coach.

When you remember how Bradshaw, Montana and many other greats stuggled in their early years, you want to think that Eli is going through those same growing pains. I'm not convince, though. I want him to do well, but I'm losing hope...and patience.

ROFLMAO yea right.....Eli is a whiney little daddys boy who should of been drafted by the Chargers but daddy wanted his other golden arm son to be in the spotlight and thus off ot the Giants he went. He should of been a Charger and thus has blown EVERY chance at a playoff since he has been in the league.

NO! The pressure to perform like his brother ruined him. I think he needs a break from the action. Either bench him behind a seasoned QB or send him to arena football for a season.

No...for two reasons. #1 I dont think manning is going to cut it in the nfl...and #2, even if he did...the giants are getting no help for him or the rest of the team. theyre going to be just as bad as before...if not worse...and manning will definitely feel the effects.
