I know I would...

Would you rather have to play say, UNC or Ohio State, and go home after one game, or have a chance at winning a championship??? Think about it, players want to play, not get blown out, so if they have a chance to do better in the NIT, they would want to go there, even if the publicity is better for the NCAA touney

No, I doubt any team would rather be in the NIT then the big dance. That's just silly/.

that was true about 50-60 years ago, but not today, the mass TV exposure would be way too much to pass up

def not if your a big school and you dont make the tourny you failed. if ur a small school and u made the tourny. its a huge deal
