The acceptance rates don't always tell you your chances, they often tell you the popularity of a school. And you're more likely to be accepted if you show passion in your personal statement and some types of links to the University.
For instance, although I didn't meet the qualifications, and it was pretty competitive, I got accepted into U of A film program because I showed passion for the subject and got a good recommendation at Community college. But I was also rejected by some less prestigious schools.
Most of them list it. US News and world report is the place for those kinds of statistics, but there are other sources.

There is a Society of Literary Agents. Contact the Publishing Houses in your city for a list of local Agents. Prepare to send out short and concise 'Query' letters with the first Chapter of your work. Jim

You can purchase guides that list all US colleges and universities. They will tell you the acceptance rate of each one. Two great books are Barron's Guide (Profiles of American Colleges) and Peterson's (Peterson's Four Year College Guide). You can get both on Amazon.com, as well as other sites and/or bookstores.

no real accetpance rate, just need good grades, SSL hours, good sat scores, and be involed in school activites, thats about it
