of 2 girls that are on holiday somewhere and they then catch a plane to Thailand to meet a someone. On they way back they are found to have drugs on them and are jailed. The whole thing had been arranged by one of the girls and the man they had met. at the end the innocent girl is released. It is based on a true story and would appreciate the title.

It sounds like Snow or Maria Full of Grace. The only difference is that these movies are in Latin America not thailand.
In any event they are good movies, and are very similar to what you are talking about.
