he was not worth the $4.5 million dollar price tag that he carried for the 2007 season (I think that was the figure I saw)

Notice he signed for less with the Rams

He's a bad guy off the field with repeated arrests for beating up on his wife

On the field, he drops way too many passes, and he cant block worth a s***

Bye Randy, I wont miss you.

The only guys I will miss are Welker and the Mare (solely for the kickoffs going into the end zone all the time)

Yes and no

McMichael was a great tight end, but the Miami Dolphins did not use him to his full potential. He became more of a blocking tight end. His is a great young man, and has all the potential in the world. Maybe going to a more pass heavy team like the Rams will show the world how good he really is.

They definetely made a mistake, not a huge one, but it was a mistake. He is a good TE that can stretch the defense when he's focused.
I'm glad that they let him go though, because the Rams signed him and now have a nastier offense. Bulger-Jackson-Holt-Bruce-Bennett-McMicheal! What a group, hopefully the O-Line stays healthy.

They couldn't wait for him forever to develop. They gave him more than enought opportunities. Remember his preseason games his rookie year? He may have reached his NFL peak in those games. He never improved. Whether it's work ethic or whatever, sometimes you have to pull the plug and let him be a star somewhere else.

No. He is all hype. My boy Tony Gonzalez would whip him any given Sunday. And he has a bad attitude. Locker room cancer who wanted too much money.
