As of this very minute I would say:
1.) Peyton Manning (Is this one in any doubt anymore?)
2.) Tom Brady (look at all the SB rings. And look how close he got last year with those receivers that he had. Who is Jabar Gaffney?)
3.) Drew Brees (Brees had a huge season with a lot of yards/TDs/ and only a few INTs. All of this coming off of a torn throwing shoulder and playing behind an average O-Line, throwing to an average receiving core, and playing on the second worst team from the previous year. Not many QBs could have done what he id with the Saints.)
4.) Carson Palmer (he is not a great QB yet, but he is good and still young and developing.)
5.) Marc Bulger. (He is hugely underrated, but always plays very well. He might be the league's most accurate QB at this time, and he has the ability to throw under pressure and throw the deep ball with precision.)

As for everyone saying McNabb is great, I don't understand it. How can McNabb be great when he can't make it through a season? He had only one great year, and that was when he played with a good receiver (T.O.). Remember last season? They started strong against mostly weak opponents, but before the after the Titans game when McNabb got hurt, they were not headed anywhere

1) Peyton Manning - Seriously, he finally won the big one so people can't use that excuse anymore. I'd take him anyday. He finished the regular season with a 101 passer rating, highest in the NFL.

2) Drew Brees - I know I'm going to catch crap for putting him over Brady, but hear me out. Brees has consistantly in the past 4 seasons completed close to 65% of his passes. He also has a 96.2 passer rating this year. And in his first year with the Saints, in a new system, took them to the NFC Championship. And did I mention he's about 4 inches shorter then his peers? That's talent.

3) Tom Brady - He's dropped off a bit from past years and whether it's due to baby mamma drama or just the lack of guys he had in the previous years, he's still up there. He had an 87.9 passer rating, 61% completion and 2 less TD's then Brees at 24.

4) Carson Palmer - 5th in total yards (4035), threw for 28 TD's, and since the knee injury has averaged a 97 passer rating. And completes around 63% of his passes. Just as good as anyone.

5) Donovan McNabb - Something else I'm going to hear about, but he is the BEST rushing QB in the nation. And yes to be a good rushing QB you have to still be able to do the "QB" part (sorry Vick). The only reason he drops to 5th in my book is the injuries. Before going down this last season he had a 95.5 passer rating, had 2647 yards in 10 games, and had thrown for 18 TD's. He also had rushed for 212 yards, 3 TD's and 14 first downs. And he's had plenty of time to recover from the ACL tear and had plenty of rest. The year before the injuries he finished with a 104.7 passer rating and 31 TD's. He gets healthy and he is one of the biggest threats at QB in the league. Looking at the stats and the Eagles appearances in the NFC Championship (as well as the Super Bowl) with him you can't take that away.
