Individuals within government misuse the power invested to them by the public virtually every time. How sad it is that we never learn from our mistakes. When our representative's term in office is up we re-elect them time and time again until they become involved in some scandal then we elect someone just as bad.
People warned that the Patriot act was an infringement on our rights and that abuse would be rampant yet we allowed the politicos to put it in place anyway. Just means the terrorist have won - they have created chaos and confusion.

Fox News told the truth!! I am amazed that the GOP network would admit that Bush may of been wrong about the unpatriotic, Patriot Act.
