haha
so your asking what to feed them
ok so free swimming
your male is out right?
the bubble nest will fall apart and from the bottom they will start swimming normally
in about 4 horus id say start feeding micro worms
it is small enough for their mouths plus it is live so they will rreact to it better
in about 2 days start feeding BBS
they will NOT eat flakes or anything dead or crushed
they will prolly starve then eat that
mine are exactly one week and 4 hours old since birth
and they are eating BBS but some are still smaller and cannot fit them into their mouths
so i feed a small portion of microworms so they can grow

as with every egglayers, the fry are very small while in basic terms out of the egg and want VERY wonderful food, even liquid. Infusoria is the superb for them for the 1st week. I continually feed mine Hikari's "First Bites" after the 1st week. it is so finely floor it looks like brown flour. you assert you probably did no longer overfeed, yet this is precisely what you'll be able to desire to do for a minimum of the 1st month of their lives. they might desire to be fed a minimum of three times an afternoon to stay wholesome and strengthen appropriate. BTW, did you eliminate the male as quickly as they have been unfastened-swimming? you already know he will consume them as quickly as they go away the bubble nest and go on their very own? As for the white issues, whether they seem to be a fungus, a fungus will in user-friendly terms attack a fish this is injured or has an open sore or is extremely under pressure from issues like detrimental water high quality or fluctuating temperatures. you are able to scrape them off with a razor blade and siphon them out with the surplus food and fish waste. sooner or later, in the experience that your bettas spawn back, take care of the tank with malachite eco-friendly in accordance to the instructions on the bottle to maintain any fungus from gaining a foothold. 8

First of all they are NOT "fries",unless you are cooking them. They are called "fry",as in newly hatched babies. Feed them live daphnia or brine shrimp at first. You can also use dried brine shrimp and daphnia, then graduate to crunched flakes.

you can always use flakes and just make smaller flakes by crunching them in the palm of your hand.
