I believe the EURO is used in Italy and in fact most of Europe now ('cept UK!) horray! So check the index for Euro/$

They use EUROS and the current rate is: 0.7623EUROS= 1 US DOLLAR

so around .76 cents of a euro is a dollar. so its worth more than the US dollar
