My kids' father is an abuser, a serial abuser who keeps finding ways to escape the consequences. I want Oprah's help! National attention, money, some powerful checks and balances... anything...I emailed her, what else can I do?

You need to accept the fact that The Oprah is not going to help you - she is selfish. So, knowing that, you need to do what is right to protect yourself and your children. There are plenty of free legal services in all areas of the country. I suggest you get yourself over to your local courthouse and find out about them before anything bad happens. Waiting for Oprah is like waiting for Godot.
