Last time I got my period, it was the last week of January, mine normally last about 4 days. I haven't had it since then. I know I'm not pregnant because I'm not sexually active. I'm 18 so my perios usually range between 4-5 weeks apart, but its been almost 7 weeks.

Can my activity level play a part in how often and how long my period is? I play hockey 6 times a week and go to the gym in between. But I'm not super skinny (5'4 and 145 lbs)

Could my activity level affect the long duration between periods, and the reason I only get them for 3-4 days?

If not, what else could it be?

You're right, very active women often have irregular periods. If this is of concern to you, taking birth control pills will regulate your cycle and you will know when to expect your period. I swam competitively and had to take the pill starting at age 15 to have a period at regular intervals. Ask your OB/gyn about it, call for an appointment soon.

yes, the increased activity has caused a change in your body and your body just needs to caught up. This will happen on its own or when your activity level changes back.
