Hi , first do not panic. You need to see a doctor if the pain is still there after 3 days .If you elevate your leg and practice writing and spelling you will definitely feel better. Also do not play any sports till foot is better .

When you hurt your toe there is nothing you can do but wait for it to heal on it's own. Just wear comfortable shoes and try to stay out of crowds. If a nail falls off it will most certainly grow back.

Well, My grandma is a retired RN, she had a postion in a hostpital during the late 50s. When my sister had hurt her toe, the toenail had swelled, and it was purple and blue underneath. I recommend going to your doctor, but I do know a at-home remedy that you could try. First, you need a large office-type paper clip. Un-wrap it to make a straight line. Then, you need to sterilize your toe. Wash your foot with soap and warm water. Then you need to sterilize the paper clip. Let it soak in rubbing alcohol for about 4 minutes. You will need assistance with the second part. Have someone take the paper clip and hold it underneath a hott burning flame for about 10 seconds. Preferably a gas stove. While they are doing that, you need to position yourself in a chair, with your foot proped up on another chair. Then, the person needs to sit on the second chair, with your foot on their lap. The person needs to take the hott paper clip, and BARELY, touch the outer skin of your toenail. They shold press lightly, you should not feel anything at all, and if you do, they are pressing too hard. If this is done right, the blood that is trapped underneath the toenail, should seep out of the nail, relieving your pain, and pressure on your toe. When you are done, clean up and soak your toe in tepid water for about 2 minutes. Then wrap with a simple bandaid. The toe nail will fall off, but it will grow back in a few months. Try to keep off of it, and dont put any pressure on it if you can help it. I do recommend going to a doctor, but if you do try this. i hope you feel better, thanks and god bless!!! xox

Might just be severely bruised, might be broken. You could go to the emergency room, but you could just ice it and keep it clean with peroxide, try to air it out and dry the cut and let it heal. Let the nail come off by itself, until it doesn't hurt to put a little pressure on the skin underneath.

I suggest going to the Emergency Room immediatley.

It probably has a fracture in the Toe/Dislocation.

Whatever you do, just don't leave it alone.

um don't go to the ER thats stupid. waist of time and money if its broken they can't fix a broken toe! only reason to go to the ER is if its super infected which i'm pretty sure you would know if it was! just let it fix it self, probably put a big band aid on it!
