I used to play guitar. I'm not real impressed. I'd go straight to the top and get a Fender or Les Paul or Gibson. Those are the three best makes.

Impossible to tell, but probably no. If it were any good, they would have listed the woods used for the body & the neck, what kind of pickups were used, what scale, what tuners.... and a guitar that's really good costs $750 and up, just the guitar. But, all things aside, the pickups are (probably pretty bad and extremely cheap) single-coils, and those produce noise, unlike humbuckers. Noiseless single-coils are $150 or more per set, so more than the whole guitar. I'd suggest you save some $150 more and get an entry-level Ibanez or so, those are guitars with a decent sound & quality that you can play for a while.

First off, this guitar is NOT NEARLY as terrible as what alot of people have been saying. Yes, it is a guitar of lesser value. The thing is, the quality really isn`t that bad. If I had to say, it is of a medium quality, if that makes sense. It isn`t great, and it isn`t terrible. It is in the middle. It tunes up fine, the finish looks good and hasn`t chipped off, the finger board plays well and there is nothing wearing off, as I have been playing the hell out of it since I opened it up. As far as looks go, the guitar itself looks pretty nice. The finish is nice and shiny and it has an inlay thing that goes around the edge of the guitar, the end of the finger board on the end where it is connected to the body, and around the accoustic opening. It is solidly constructed and nothing has fallen off of it or come lose. The frets are completely functional, and THERE IS NO BUZZING. My 400$ Washburn accoustic isn`t as good as this guitar is. And oh yeah, the sounds is actually NICE. Especially in the lower half of the finger board and with the open strings, it has a really nice, clear, and rich sound. My only complaint is that the higest notes on the guitar aren`t as resonant as I`d like them to be, but I believe that this may be due to the action of the strings. I think it might be a little too high. Also, the case came with the strap, the cord (duh) 3 picks, and a polishing cloth. What`s more, is that when I play with the amp, the sound, even in the highest register, is quite nice. One more complaint is that, while the guitar is actually decent, it is a little bit harder to play as compared to my Washburn accoustic. I can still play it quite well. And to whoever said Esteban was a phony: no, he isn`t. He majored in guitar performance in a decent college without having had lessons before hand, and then played for andres segovia, who then took him as his student. He is the real deal my friend.

I've seen Esteban on QVC at least one hundred times. He's a fantastic guitar player and salesman, I'll give him that.

I don't think that you would have anything to worry about if you bought this guitar. I mean for $200, and with all that you get, you really can't go wrong. I'm sure it's got to be decent quality or QVC probably wouldn't sell his stuff, so I say go for it.

PS: Once you get better, upgrade. Taking the stage with an Esteban guitar will get you nothing but snickers and laughs.

its not good..its a waste of 200 dollars...when there is a guitar being sold that doesnt even mention the type of wood the guitar is being made from, the type of hardware and pickups and tuners; u know it sucks...always know what ur getting...otherwise, dont buy it.
