I would pick up Germany. The infrastructure is perfect, the quality of life is high, the economy is relatively strong, the people are so kind and open minded, the environment and the cultural heritage are preserved. Ok, the weather is not as nice as in the south, but when you can use your 35 days of holiday to go wherever. Besides, if you live near a hub like Frankfurt or Berlin, you can always find cheap flights for many destinations.

I think is Greece. Greece has the best climate in Europe , the sun here is different. It's a very peaceful and safe country. Many places to visit and explore, not only the islands but also villages on mountains, rivers, lakes, forests etc. People are very nice (OK some bad people you can meet everywhere in this planet !). This country never sleeps, especially in summer.
The only bad thing is the cost of living which is in high levels.
But in general we enjoy life !

Anywhere near the Alps. According to a study by Mercer the cities of Zurich, Munich, and Vienna have the best quality of life in the world.
