I have guitar hero 2 for ps2 and I was wondering if i should get It for xbox 360 becuase they have 10 new songs and you can download songs on marketplace. Or should I just wait till next year when Guitar Hero 3 comes out for xbox 360?

If you really like the game then Yes. There isnt even an official release of Guitar Hero 3 that I know of. (May want to check gamespot.com to look up on that) So getting GH2 would be well worth it.
Also since your buying it with the guitar you'll already be equipped with one for GH3. (Since GH3 will most likely be compatible with the guitar from Gh2)

Definitely wait for Guitar Hero 3 on the 360. For a start, the graphics will be acceptable then (I'm not a fan of the PS2 guitar hero graphics) and the game will be so much more advanced. I'd also assume that people will learn how to make their own guitar hero songs for other people to download for free onto their console, thus a never ending supply of songs and difficulties to play with.

There's no real reason not to, then again there's not a great reason to do so either. I suppose it comes down to do you want to shovel out the money for another ten songs and shell out the few bucks for the songs off the market place
personally I'd buy it.
As for GH3 it's questionable as to whether or not there will be one. I do recall having read something about the programmers of harmonix not doing guitar hero3 but going on to make something else, that of course doesn't mean there won't be a third, it just means it won't be made by harmonix.

If you liked guitar hero 2|(I am sure you likes it) wait until guitar hero 3 comes on x-box..I think that it would be the best experience you have ever had...

id say yes. cuz it seems as if there is much time until guitar hero 3. im sure more songs will make it more amusing. and it depends on ur financial status.

get it now so that way when you get three all of those songs are already on your hardrive. Also it is still several months before it comes out so you will get your money's worth.
