No doubt about it.

Only two players are on track to get close to breaking his records. Marvin Harrison and Torry Holt.

LOL, No.1, what are you smoking? It is pretty obvious you are a Colts fan. Harrison is great, but he is not better than Rice. Plus he is, I believe 31 o 32 years old, so I wouldn't exactly call it his prime. And Reggie Wayne a close second? Are you kidding me? Reggie Wayne is good but you think he is better than Steve Smith, Chad Johnson, T.O., and Torry Holt? That is a joke. As for Troy Williamson, he is in his second year! How can you say he is better than Rice? He hasn't done anything yet and just because someone has good skills does not mean they are actually good. If he were good, the Vikings offense wouldn't suck so much. And as for Sidney Rice, he isn't even in the NFL yet and you think he is better than Jerry? You obviously have no respect for the game's great players. Or just no knowledge of the game. And this comes from a Cowboy fan, so don't think I just love the Niners. It is hard for me to say Rice is better than guys like Irvin and Pearson, but it is true.

No question. He is the greatest WR of all time. You could make a ery good argument that he is the greatest player ever in the NFL. No player has or currently does dominate his position the way Jerry Rice did.

Super Bowl rings, all-time records.........YES, Jerry Rice is the best wide receiver EVER to play in the NFL. I will be willing to reconsider that opinion when another WR matches or surpasses what Rice has done.

Without a doubt. There have been receivers that have been bigger, stronger, faster, jump higher, etc. but Rice was the total package for a long time.
Perhaps if some of the others had 1/2 of the discipline and love of the game Rice had, they would have had much better careers. Randy Moss or T.O. anyone?

Yes, Jerry Rice is way better than Jay B

Yes. He is still the best WR but there are some guys that, if they play long enough at the level they are playing now and avoid serious injuries, could give him a run for his money.

i think Jerry rice is a great receiver but not the best. lets remember Marvin Harrison who is in his prime and will surely break many of his records before hes through, then theres Reggie Wayne who is arguably a close second behind Marvin Harrison, then Minnesota's Troy Williamson who has the speed and the hands to shatter many of the records and its only his second year in the pros, and then theres the draft with Sidney rice who shattered many records in only two years playing at the University of South Carolina so i think rice is great but not the best.
