A german guy staying here in the u.s. just told me he found a service called pennytalk which was 2 cents per minute plust 49 cents per call. You need to use a credit card and put a little cash into an account, but he tried it and said it's legit, no tricks or anything.

the only way I know of is using the computer. you need a computer headset. go download skype. make account. either buy minutes to chat from computer to land $.10 per minute. or chat online for free.
