I would try pulling it out a bit and checking the wires are all secured in position.
Then check the fuse boxes
Then see if it is still in warranty take it back to the garage and plead ignorance
Then obtain 1 mallet and buy a new one if all the above fail.

first thing to try would be the inline fuse
pull unit out of dash. follow cables & you will see a few inches from the unit a fuse. do not put a high amp fuse in replace with exactly what is in it already (normally a 1.5 I think)
