You don't need those algae eaters. They have a nasty habbit of eating the slime coat of other fishes at night while they sleep. Green algea is good for the system. You feed GF once or twice a day all they can eat in about 3 to 5 minutes.

First, goldfish only need to be fed once a day. It is better to underfeed all fish, but especially goldfish. Fish can live for several days without eating and be perfectly fine. Underfeeding is especially important in your case because you have 5 fish with very large water requirements. With the fish you have, you should have at least a 50 gallon tank and I'm betting you don't, so overfeeding your tank can be deadly. Goldfish should be fed the equivalent of about two mouthsful. While it is important that you not overfeed, the more important thing to remember is that you remove all food from the tank that has not been eaten within 5 minutes. Also, whether you feed flakes or pellets, you need to soak the food before feeding so that the goldfish don't get air in their stomachs. Most fish are omnivorous, which means that they like and need fruits and veggies in addition to their regular diet of flakes or pellets. So, you should also feed your goldfish such things as frozen or freeze-dried brine shrimp, plankton and freeze dried bloodworms, scuds, tubifex, daphnia, cocktail shrimp, dark green lettuces (not iceberg) and spinach, thawed frozen peas or fresh boiled peas with the skins removed, chopped boiled eggs, cucumber, zucchini, broccoli flowers, boiled cauliflower, fruits such as oranges, skinned grapes, kiwi fruit, melons, bananas, strawberries, etc. None of these foods should be seasoned in any way. Don't feed them bread or crackers as they are empty calories and virtually non-nutritious.
