then on that site go to your state and click on offenders currently in jail. you need to know thier first and last name or thier inmate number. that site willtell when they were admitted to jail and what they were arrested for and when they are getting out and thier location and will show thier inmate number.

You didn't say what state he is incarcerated or if he is in the federal system. I have attached the US Bureau of Prisions inmate locator site. This is for federal prisons.

If he is in a state system just google the following using your state instead of Texas as in my example and you will find the inmate locator for the right state.

Go to prisontalk.com
Then scroll down to where it says inmate locator. Or if you know the state, scroll down to that states' site and then go to inmate locator. With most of the sites, you only need to know their name and date of birth.
