Two questions. Did you know that if Barack Obama was two years older he could not be president. He was born in Hawaii two years after Hawaii became a state. How does that make you feel? And what Republican is running for president, I have only heard about Democrats.

He may still have been able to run for President, but it would be interesting to see if he was born earlier.

As for the Republicans, they have McCain (who was born on a military base in Panama, so he is able to run), Guiliani, and my choice; Mitt Romney.

Look up Romney, he was the person who saved the Salt Lake City Olympics. He also made a surplus for the budget in Mass.

You can thank the media for only hearing about Democrats. It is called unfair reporting which is against regulations; however, as you can see it is only held to law if the Rep is the one getting the attention (see Gov race in Ca this last Nov when Angelidas complained about this issue).

One could also say that the elections are still 19 months away...who cares who the candidates are? Let the candidates come out later this year and run for the primaries which are still a year away. Before long the Dems will be talking about their 2012 candidates.

I am sure Hawaii was a territory with American citizenship laws before it became a state. Even today people born in U.S. territories are U.S. citizens.

Obama is a wild card and I have read some interesting stuff on him. And its not from the far right, in fact, several groups in Democratic Blogs posted how long he was indoctrinated in Islamic Religion by his father. His father, a radical Muslim in his own right, makes me wonder how much stuck.

My grandpa had a saying, " an acorn never falls far from the tree" so it would stand to reason that he could be more than just a wild card.

There are several Repubs running, but dont know much about some of them except John McCain. He looks like a person trying to find the center of the road instead of standing up for what he believes in. I think the polls are driving him. Only other one is Ruddy and it remains to be seen about him.

I feel that if you are an American citizen, no matter how long you should be eligible.. As far as republicans? who cares?? haven't you seen enough republicans in the past 8 years?? I know i have.. if you ever notice.. every time republicans are in control, the economy goes to hell and we go to war.. If you are one of these republicans that just want to put a thumbs down solely because I am not a republican, take the time and go check out the history, THE COMPLETE history and not just the history that supports your ideas.. It seems republicans only use what helps them and overlooks what hurts them.
If you are thinking Rudy.. you are making a huge mistake.. Yes the man did well in 911(the only reason he has gained popularity), but NYC is and always has been the scum hole of America.. He has done nothing to help NYC. Why would you think he would be able to handle an even bigger picture? That's just plain dumb.

1st question: Who cares?
2nd Question: Absolute proof of media bias.

The link below is Yahoo's Presidential Election coverage. The Republicans have only 1 candidate less then the Democrats according to the list on that page.

I really don't give Barrack Obama that much thought. If he was not qualified to run as President it would have been brought forward long ago, so your question is juvenile.
There are many Republicans running, just as there are many Democrats. Giuliani, Romney, McCain to name three of them.

kr, "every time republicans are in control, the economy goes to hell and we go to war?" I think its you that needs to check history.

The economy happens to be booming right now, low unemployment, stock market at record highs. The last democrat president led us to a recession. The one before him had one of the worst economies of the 20th century. High unemployement, high inflation, gas lines, high interest rates. It was so bad under Carter that a new term 'misery index' was coined. Of course a republican turned that all around.

As for wars, lets look back...Vietnam, a democrat got us involved; Korea, a democrat got us involved, World War II, a democrat got us involved, World War I, a democrat got us involved.

Learn a little history, you'll be much better off for it.

About Obama: I don't care. What possible difference could that make?
And look for Rudy Giuliani, John McCain for the republican party. Those are the front-runners, for now.

John McCain is running.....but I'm voting for Barak. I could care less if he didn't qualify if he was born in Hawaii 2 years earlier. How is that relavant?
Dam...I hope Hillary doesn't get the Demo ticket....the interns need to feel safe at work.

I don't think that matters. Hawaii was still part of the US, it was a US territory. Idon't care, but I still think he lacks a record of experience & accomplishment.
