qualifications:
varies: usually must be computer literate (including MS Office products, basic printer upkeep, running scanners/fax machines, etc), be able to multitask, have good typing speed/accuracy, have good communication skills

benefits/pay:
varies on where you are/experience level: can make as little as about $7/hr no benefits (through temp agencies)...can make as much as $80+k/year + benefits with experience and being very good

college/on-the-job training: some jobs are available w/o some college (like the $7/hr w/o benefits job through Manpower or similar) as long as you meet the other qualifications and can prove it via tests taken through the temp agency.
Most require at least an associates to get in the door (many want experience too -- so working part time in an office environment while working on a 2 year degree would be helpful).

They make min. wage or a little higher.
U just answer the phone and they usually train you on the spot without any college.
