I work for a airline..formerly ramp services ( baggage load/unload etc.) but last week i switched to night shift aircraft cleaning. we clean the planes inside, dump the lavatories etc..
i am always finding things such as jewelry, ipods, cell phone that passengers leave behind... we are suppossed to turn into loat and found if the passenger doesnt call back to reclaim in 7 days its ours..

I have 4 ipods and 9 cell phone and 2 blue tooth devices, 1 laptop, 1 ladies ring (looks diamond not sure yet) ,11 pair sunglasses ( all awesome designer wear) and 2 watches my question is:
Am i wrong to re-sell this stuff at the pawn shop or should I give to charity ? Also how would i use an ipod ? one doesnt have earphones w/it and how do you put music into them particular SONY as 2 of them are and how do u put video on them ?

wrong - that depends on your personal ethical code I guess...

I think donating them would be best...especially the cell phones...there are senior centers and domestic violence organizations that use them as 9111 emergency only phones for there clients...you could be helping save a life...

and I bet some kids in a group home or orphanage would appreciate those ipods...

all of them might artwork till the batteries went ineffective. you will not have the skill to speak to every person on the cellular or blackberry however. The iPod might artwork yet you have not got any thank you to recharge it for the reason that there is no pc to connect it to.

you should look over the devices and see if there is a name. If there is none, sell the devieces. Give half the money to Charity, and the other half to yourself.

split the items up,donate some of the things then sell the other stuff. that way you get a little something for yourself and you also gain pride in yourself for donating!!

It would be nice if you donate. You can use it as a write off on your taxes. Like you said, if it's not claimed in seven days it's yours. You can do what you like with it. Either way, you benefit.
