I'm looking to move home, and to rent a van. Will this be big enough for a double bed? That is the biggest thing we are moving...

sorry, i'm not moving INTO the van! I'm just looking to move my furniture, including my double bed, with a cheap van! sorry to confuse!

It may be the biggest thing that you are moving but you wont get much else in such a small van. (I have similar size vehicles).
Rent a sprinter or a luton and you will find moving a lot easier.

Yes double bed will fit in swb van .

I think they are made for a 4x8 sheet of plywood, so 48 inch's. They used to make a 48 in bed for Mobile homes, maybe you can find one of those.
I measured mine and it's over 5 ft, so no problem
