How deep do you want the water to be ?
If you go to Google and type gallons in one cubic meter, you will see there are 264.2 US gallons in one cubic meter. So if the water is one meter deep, you would need 172 X 264.2 gallons or 45442.4 gallons.
If the water to be two meters deep, double that value.
