I made a couple long movies using windows movie maker and I loved them. However they got accidentally deleted. I was able to retrieve them but because they were huge - over 100 meg each - they got slightly corrupted. As you know Windows Media Player is unforgiving. It just won't play it. I can't afford expensive software. Is there any software out there that will find the parts that are playable and play them?
Thanks for any help you can provide.

Try vlc player or bsplayer. I've been able to drag/skip across some bad sections with them, but no guarantees. They're free and vlc particularly is a great player which will handle things others won't.
