Im kind of in a situation where I need someone's help. See my took my few dollars that I had for the month that I get from the state for caring for her disabled son. Well yeah he's my brother that I care for, but she took his SSI and left to Rosarito, to deal with my little brothers marijuana addiction. So Im screwed, and I just so happend to vent this man that I'v been chatting with and he offered some money to get me by for the month. He said it would be a gift and that nothing was expected of me just to accept the gift. What do you think should I???? I'v never taken money like from anyone, I've always worked but right now my brother and I have a toddler its a little diffucult to work. And I'm not on welfare or get child support, should i take this once, or should i just disappeare from his radar???????

well he wanted to talk to me over the phone but i had just ran out of minutes on my prepaid cell, and he asked me what kind it was and went out and got a card and gave me the pin over the net. But since this is cash he wants to give it to me he asked, where what time and who would be coming with me. So i figured to go way across from where i live and take a major detour on the way home after meeting him like at chuck e cheese or something. and just for the three seconds it takes for him to give me the money i need. Id love to get a part job but i can't find anyone to stay with my 26yr old disabled brother that needs 24hr care. And pot head brother already cleared out the house for his weed.

It's probably a scam. Either send you a rubber check or clean out your account; be careful about letting this guy know anything about your banking; and I'd have any cash sent to a trusted friend not to my home if you do decide to accept.

No doubt there are good people out there; but the net is a hotbed of theives and potential abusers you just can't be careful enough

Believe it or not, there are people out there that are willing to give you their shirts off their back to help anyone.Take the money because it's for a good cause and you sound sincere enough for me to do the same.I don't know how you got yourself in that situation, but I'm sure you know how to avoid it next time. The person who is offering the money to help is not an easy person to find,,with all the greed and selfish people in the world.Offer to pay back the money and I'll bet he would say "no" he's one of those people and that's the kind you should keep as a friend..a trust worthy, helpful and honest person.....hope this helps you make the right decision and good luck in the future...Dano

Nothing is ever free. Odds are there will be some strings attatched - especially if he wants to meet you. If you did meet him be very careful and take another adult (preferably male) with you. Don't tell him where you live or anything like that. Best thing you can do is leave this guy alone - you don't know what he has up his sleeve and it might not be worth it just for money.

well, this could go either way, he is just a really nice guy who honestly wants to help you out, or he is a scam artist, or a smart @ss. I would say if your religious to pray about it, if not do what you think is right, but be sure to get facts, and meet at place of youre choice with other people present. As for your situation i am very sorry to hear this, and if it means anything to you i will say a prayer for you.

Take the money but why disappear from his radar ?
He sounds like a good guy...
Why not meet with him and start a relationship ?
At the very least, you could show him a little love
as a reward for being so good to you in your time of need.

Look... no one gives you things for free...
ever here of the old line
@ss, grass or gas..no one rides for free

if youu take it... you are opening the door to having this person knowing where you live... how to get to you..etc

go to welfare and get a cheque to help you for the month

what is with the brother and you have a toddler thing?

I don't know. Don't you think that it is a little weird that someone is offering you money in return for you to do NOTHING for him at all? I suggest that you should give in a few things that you have to a Pawn Shop and get the money you need.

I have found out dealing with people online,BE CAREFUL,be very careful of people online ,because all things are not what they seem to be.He could be a good person ,then again he could be setting you up for something. If you take any money do it through western union, and give him no information on where you are.BE VERY CAREFUL

What ever happen to the nice people who never expected anything?.Go to the local churches they never want anything in return.Food pantries, some even give out gas coupons .The local police department can put you in the right direction, for getting help.
