Has anyone else had any problems with Sky Broadband? My download speed is on average 13 KB/s!! This is the same speed as my old dial up connection!! It should be 8 MB/S. Tried calling them but they are useless! Any ideas on how i can get it working to the correct speed?

im having massive problems with sky, i havent been able to access the internet for 9 days. whenever i call them up they fob me off with a lousy exuse that everyone in my area is suffering from the same problem, this is a blatant lie as my neighbour four doors away has not had any problems!!!

To be honest im going to leave sky, i thought tiscali was bad, but its better the devil you know. In all honesty i would say if possible get connected somewhere else there is no point wasting good money on an unsatisfactory product.

I would reset the router as this happens to my mum all the time if this does not work i am afraid that you will have to speak with sky.

One final point do you have those white box things that they send on all the lines even those that do not have to broadband connected to ( this would include lines that might not even have a phone connected)

I had the same problem Sky Connect. I contacted Sky and they got BT to recheck the line and now its OK. For mor help and a free number to contact Sky goto skyuser.co.uk This is a free forum for sky users.

It does take a little time for your line to settle.

The little white boxws are called Microfilters. They are important and should be conected to the incomming line that goes to your internet
